MTW was commissioned by the City of London to consult with local residents living around Hampstead Heath to get their views on design ideas developed by LUC Consultants for refreshed and new facilities on Parliament Hill.

Brockwell Hall & Stables Stage 2 Heritage Lottery Bid
After helping to secure a Stage 1 NLHF award for the Development Phase, MTW was appointed by Lambeth Council to carry out the Business planning for a Stage 2 bid for the complete renovation and opening up of the Georgian mansion Brockwell Hall and Stables and courtyard, currently inaccessible to the public. We worked alongside the architects, Pringle Richards Sharratt. The bid was successful and the renovated buildings are due to open soon following a £6m refurbishment
Old Fire Station Stoke Newington
MTW was asked by the trustees to help plan and fund raise for the renovation of this 1870’s former fire station which had been converted into a Community centre in the 1970’s by Hackney Council but is independently managed by a CIC. With the help of the Architectural Heritage Fund, a team was assembled to carry out a preliminary feasibility study. The report spurred the Council into replacing all the roofs on the building and then agreeing to grant the Trust a 25 year lease on the condition that external funds were raised to renovate the rest of the building. So far we have raised funds for a major development study and the installation of renewable energy measures to reduce the high energy costs of the building.

They offer an opportunity to create a sports and physical hub, better links for pedestrians and cyclists, community ownership of certain assets and contribute to community cohesion.
